Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a trulu powerful customer relationship management platform, meant to help companies manage things like sales, marketing and customer service. It’s an enterprise-level solution that has become a global leader, and fits particularly well for companies that are already in the Microsoft sphere.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM is one of those close-to all-encompassing systems that consist of several key modules that can be used together or separately. This includes modules like:

  • Sales: Letting you manage the complete cycle from lead to opportunity and ordering. Sales teams can track things like interactions, forecast revenue, quotas, as well as visualize their pipelines. This module also includes features for territory management, sales analytics and product-catalog management.
  • Marketing: Allowing you to plan campaigns, execute them and then measure their impact. Microsoft provides tools for segmenting your audience and create multi-channel campaigns, as well as to track your customers’ journeys with you.
  • Customer service:  Making it possible for support teams to manage their cases, keep track of service requests and maintain and update knowledge bases. Here, you’ll find features like omnichannel support (aka email, phone, chat, social etc.), Service Level Agreement management as well as self-service portals.
  • Field service: Letting your mobile workforce handle order management, dispatch, scheduling and inventory tracking on the go.
  • Projects  – Allowing service organizations to keep track of, and manage, their projects, time, resources etc.

All in all, Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a huge systems that primarily helps larger companies manage a whole lot of different needs under one ceiling. Making it a good fit for bigger companies with an expanse of needs, but maybe less of a good fit for the small start-up.
