  • Pipeline management
  • Marketing and automation
  • Customer service support
  • Reporting

That said, Lime is best suited for those that appreciate having a Nordic presence, and prefer a straight-forward CRM that covers a lot of areas but doesn’t cost a fortune.

Is Lime for you? Time to compare

Are you not sure if Lime is the best choice for you? Below, you’ll see a comparison of what Lime can offer – and what you can get from other vendors.

  • HubSpot: An all-in-one-place sales and marketing platform that scales with you and offersz different, cost-efficient tiers

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365: A true enterprise-grade platform for larger companies with complex structures, hierarchies and integration needs

A deep dive into Lime – and the alternatives

Lime CRM

Lime revolves around specific business needs rather than forcing businesses to adapt their organization to the software, and connects sales, marketing, and support teams throughout the customer journey. Key features include:

  • Industry-specific customizations:  Including solutions made and crafted for certain industries, in particular within the B2B sphere
  • Shared customer journey: Lime integrates sales, marketing, and customer service in one single place
  • Wide variety of add-ons: Including marketing automation, workflows, CPQ and event management
  • A visual dashboard: With real-time KPI tracking and customizable reporting

Lime is primarily for bigger teams that need flexibility and tailored workflows, and that appreciate the local presence on the Nordic market. That said, it has a high barrier of entry, and is not perfect for those requiring more advanced features, multi-language support or support for complex structures and hierarchies. When CRMs like Dynamics 365 may be the better choice.

Microsoft Dynamics 365

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is really a portfolio of interconnected business applications that CRM and ERP functionalities. It’s made to tackle the challenges of conventional systems while creating a seamless connection between areas. It also offers an almost unprecedented depth for enterprise organizations.

Key features include:

  • A comprehensive suite of areas and services: Things like sales, marketing, customer service, field service, finance, operations, supply chain, HR, and projects can be managed here.
  • AI-powered analytics: With the Copilot integration, you can get smart recommendations and automation
  • Superb integration possibilities across the Microsoft suite: Get a seamless connection with tools Teams, Outlook, Power BI, and Azure
  • A true, enterprise-level security: Including advanced compliance, data encryption, and security protocols
  • Deep customization possibilities: Can be configered to meet specific needs and processes

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is really great for large companies with complex processes, that either need an integrated CRM and ERP or that is already invested in the Microsoft ecosystem. It is, however, kind of pricy, with complex licensing structures. It can also be difficult to learn, and may be overkill for those that need simple CRM functionality. When CRMs like Pipedrive may be the way to go instead.

Pipedrive

Pipedrive is really made to help sales teams manage their pipelines better and close deals faster. With that, functionality is primarily sales-based and includes:

  • Visual pipeline management: A simple drag-and-drop interface with fully customizable pipeline stages
  • Smart contact data: I.e. Pipedrive can automatically enrich your contact information from publicly accessible data
  • A variety of communication tools: With things like email integration, call tracking, meeting scheduling, and batch emailing
  • Sales automation: With workflow automation, activity tracking and email sequences

Pipedrive can be perfect for teams focusing on sales, and that need a straight-forward CRM for managing contacts and deals. That said, there is not really a great support for marketing and customer success, and automations are focused primarily on sales. Which means that, if you need, for example, more marketing support, you may want to look at another CRM. Like Hubspot.

Hubspot

So, Hubspot is what we can call a customer platform, and that consists of several products like the Marketing Hub,  Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, Data Hub, Commerce Hub, and Smart CRM. It may be the most comprehensive CRM on the market, with a free tier, and includes features like:

  • A free CRM: Well, at least there is a free tier that lets you add a ton of contacts, and use things like basic pipeline management, email tracking, and live chat
  • A modular hub system: Hubspot allows you to pay for what you need (like Marketing, Sales, Service, Content etc.)
  • Marketing automation: As Hubspot was marketing-first when it started, it’s not strange that it can offer a sophisticated campaign management and lead nurturing
  •  Reporting: Including advanced analytics and dashboards for custom reporting

Hubspot is superb for startups and small businesses (given its free tier), as well as for organizations that are really marketing driven. However, it can be kind of expensive when you scale, and the Marketing Hub does have a pricing that depends on number of contacts. And, while it does have a modern interface, it doesn’t offer the kind of visual customizations that, for example, Monday.com does.

Monday.com

Monday CRM is another kind of system. Its highly visual and user-friendly platform is designed for teams that are just getting started with CRM, and provides things like contact management and workflows. It also has that nice visual project management approach that Monday is famous for, and applies that to the customer relationship management. Key features include:

  • Visual boards: Super-customizable, color-coded boards for managing deals and leads
  • A shared timeline: You can see, for example, emails, calls, meetings, and notes in one view
  • Automation: Create customized workflows with no coding involved
  • Quotes and invoices: Monday allows you to create quotes and invoices directly from contact data
  • A variety of dashboard analytics: Including sales forecasting, team performance tracking, and revenue insights

Monday CRM can be really great for those teams that are already using Monday for project management, those that think visually, and small -and midsized companies that prioritize flexibility. That said, their advanced analytics does require a subscription to a higher tier, and advanced automations may need third-party tools for integrations (like Zapier).
