Hi, Andreas! Tell us a little bit about yourself and Icy Box.
My name is Andreas and I’m the project manager of the marketing team at Icy Box/Raidsonic. We create gadgets like docking stations, enclosures and monitor holders – making the lives of IT users smoother and better.
Can you tell us a little bit more about how and where you sell your products?
So we’re an international company. We’ve got a very wide range and sell across the world -including on Amazon and Ebay. Our biggest market is Germany and then we’re in Poland, Sweden, of course, as well as Italy and Spain.
Interesting. What made you choose SP CE to help support your partners and customers?
SP_CE is a very great tool. I just stumbled over it and fell in love with it over the first week. It’s so simple to use. It’s so obvious. Everything is in the right place and the right form.
As a company, we’re using SP_CE to get closer to our customers. We want to get a better connection with them and help them find the stuff they need immediately. So that’s what we use SP_CE for the most: to connect and be visible.

Do you have a strategy for getting customers and partners active in SP CE?
Yes, we’ve had a strategy of giving every customer a custom space, a unique experience, so they feel like it’s their own special place that they can use. They should feel that “this is the best for me…this is only for me”. So that’s what we’ve been focusing on.
Now, we’re also changing course a little bit and are working to build an academy, a university, a place they can go to see everything they need to know. And I really mean everything: from the little cable plug to the big conference room, so they can know everything about cable management, speed and data, about the size of our products and their use cases. They’ll be able to do quizzes, get certificates and become certified Icy Box Users.
So that’s where we’re heading next, creating a big place where all our customers can meet and learn.
How has your experience with the SP CE team been?
You are always there. I can write to you at 1 am. and you’re there for me. I have a great connection with you guys and you’re very helpful with everything, even if it’s technical stuff I can’t even imagine doing myself I can just ask you and you’ll have an answer or come up with a quick solution. So it’s just great working with you.
