While Hubspot does not have a dedicated partner area, or partner-user type, you can make Hubspot work for partner sales with integrations. SP_CE Partner Portal, for example, integrates directly into Hubspot and removes any need for manual entries or giving your partners direct access to your CRM. With that, partners will be able to both manage their deals and support tickets all in one space – and you can save time and money.
Partner-sales organizations that use Hubspot on its own tend to do this:
- They ask their partners for deal updates and projections
- They get support tickets via email or calls
- They manually add and update all that in Hubspot
This works. Not great, but it does. And the problem is that it takes a whole lot of administration and doesn’t provide an easy way to both see deals and support tickets – and work alongside your partner to keep everything updated. Your partner can’t be ultimately responsible, and the weight falls squarely on you and your partner managers.
Luckily, there’s an option.
Integrations that make Hubspot work for partner sales
With an integration to another tool, like the SP_CE Partner Portal, this is made so much easier: by integrating Hubspot to SP_CE, you can allow your partners to:
- Add and manage their deals directly in SP_CE and gain full oversight over their respective deals in progress. You can get notifications when deals have been added, changed – or have passed their close date. You can also send the same notifications to partners to ensure they continuously update their deals.
- Add and manage support tickets directly in SP_CE and allow partners to enter their own tickets and follow progress. You and partners can be notified when new tickets have been added, and be informed of any changes in status.
Of course, everything is synced directly to Hubspot. So that you can gather your data in one place, without having to do any manual labor.
