Hi, Piotr! Can you tell us a little bit about Metrum Cryoflex?

Metrum Cryoflex is a medical-device company from Poland. We are very active in innovative technologies, including the freezing of nerves in order to treat chronic and post-operative pain. This is a technology that is developing very well and I think we are in the top-three most known players in the segment.

Can you tell us more about your business model and where SP CE fits in?

Outside Poland we sell through distributors. This was why I was always looking for a tool that could help me communicate with these distributors in a better, more direct, way. You know as well as I do that if you work with distributors and want to have a common approach towards everyone, if you want to share up-to-date information quickly and actually expect them to act and get results, you need to give them something in exchange. Something of quality, delivered in a qualitative way.

The content we share is our job. But we found our communication channel in SP_CE.

What’s your biggest challenge in indirect sales?

The biggest challenge is how distributors plan their business sales-wise and how reliable the sales projections they deliver to us are. A lot depends on these projections and forecasts – not only sales but also production and logistics. This, as our supply chain model has to be based on a reliable sales forecast, especially after COVID 19 when logistic -and supply channels changed a lot for electronics and even in the products that includes electronic elements. Now, you often have to order very far in advance and you have to commit to, for example, a year’s volume.

So, if you don’t project, if you don’t forecast properly, you will either have too much in stock or not enough.

What do you want to achieve with SP CE?

I want to provide our distributors with more service from our side, which will bring them closer to our company and make them more eager to sell our products. That way, they will get more familiar with our business and the sector where we operate. And if they have a good understanding of our business they will also give more reliable forecasts.

How was your experience working with SP_CE?
