SP CE vs unifyr

A fair look at both. We’ll tell you when Channelscaler is the better fit –

and when SP_CE is.

SP_CE vs Unifyr
Home » Compare » SP_CE vs Unifyr: A Fair Comparison of Two Partner Platforms

TL;DR

Unifyr, formerly Zift Solutions, has the best through-channel marketing automation of any platform we compete with. If your plan is to run demand generation through your partners – syndicated campaigns, social content, concierge marketing – nobody in this category does it better.

SP_CE is built on a different bet. Syndicated campaigns only work if your partners are motivated and capable enough to run them, and most are not. We start earlier: PAM, our autonomous AI channel manager, makes partners competent first. She answers their questions in their own language from your approved content, shows the source every time, takes support tickets and trains their reps through AI roleplays.

feature comparison

AI – the headline difference

  • Unifyr has Unifyr IQ across the platform, then Onboarding IQ, Campaign IQ and Ask IQ, plus autonomous Deal and Social Curation agents. That is a lot of AI, and naming each agent after its job is a sensible design. It also means the person using the platform has to know which agent does what.

  • PAM is one channel manager. Your partner asks her anything – a product question, where a document is, how to handle an objection, a support issue – and she handles it or routes it. She works in the partner’s language, only from content you approved, and shows the source for every answer.

Bottom line: Unifyr has more AI features. We have one AI worker your partners can name.

AI – the headline difference
SP_CE on Partner experience

Partner experience

  • Unifyr partners work in the portal, where they find a strong SCORM learning platform inherited from Zift, deal registration and the campaign tools. What they will not find is ticket or support management, so product issues go to email.

  • SP_CE partners reach PAM and their content from web, phone, tablet or WhatsApp. An installer on a job site messages and gets an answer in their own language. Ticketing is built in, next to an AI that resolves most questions before a ticket is raised. And on top of the courseware layer, PAM runs AI roleplays: a dealer rep practices the conversation with PAM playing the customer, gets corrected in the moment and repeats it.

Bottom line: ask both vendors to show a partner rep learning to handle a competitor objection, not completing a module. Courses transfer facts. Roleplays build the confidence that decides which product gets recommended.

Time to launch
  • Unifyr is an enterprise implementation. Unifyr Engage is priced per partner and can reach down-market, but the deployment is still a project.

  • SP_CE is out of the box. A channel marketing manager can have a partner-ready space live the same week, using Smart Folders, Space Designer and Global Resources.

Bottom line: if you have 60 dealers and no channel ops team, the enterprise suite is the wrong shape as well as the wrong price.

SP_CE comparison on launching
SP_CE Comparison on Pricing
Pricing
  • Unifyr does not publish pricing. Engage is per-partner, enterprise is quoted.

  • SP_CE publishes three tiers and what is in them, with figures on request, and starts with a 30-day free trial.

Bottom line: neither of us publishes figures. Only one of us lets you try the product first.

Integrations
  • Unifyr connects to the major CRMs and adds Agent Connect, a Model Context Protocol implementation so other applications and AI agents can query the platform. We are not going to claim MCP as a differentiator any more, because Agent Connect exists and it does the same job.

  • SP_CE connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, Lime CRM, monday.com and NetSuite. Partner content stays where it already lives through Google Drive, OneDrive and SharePoint, with calendars and meetings through Google and Microsoft Teams. Our MCP server exposes PAM, so what the calling agent reaches is a channel manager who answers from governed content, not a data endpoint.

Bottom line: the protocol is table stakes now. What the agent can actually do on the other end is the question.

SP_CE Comparison on Integration
SP_CE Comparison on Compliance and regulated industries
Compliance and regulated industries
  • Unifyr‘s public material does not explain how partner content is versioned, scoped or governed.

  • SP_CE versions documents and scopes them per market and per tier, and PAM answers only from approved content, always with the source shown. If a partner in Germany should not see the US-only version of a medical device instruction for use, the structure enforces it.

Bottom line: for medtech, life sciences and regulated industrial products, this section decides the deal.

Support and service model
  • Unifyr offers a concierge marketing service, where their team builds and runs campaigns for partners who will not self-serve. That is a real answer to a real problem, and it is unusual in this category.

  • SP_CE includes onboarding, plus customer success and a partner success team. We do not run campaigns for your partners, and we do not run your program for you.

Bottom line: if the gap you are filling is that partners will not market, Unifyr’s concierge service addresses it directly. If the gap is that partners cannot answer a product question, a concierge marketer does not help.

Which should you pick?

Pick SP CE if:

  • Partner competence, not partner marketing, is what caps your channel revenue

  • Your partners work in several languages across several markets

  • You sell regulated or technical products where document versioning matters

  • You want partners supported around the clock without hiring

  • You want partner reps to practice selling, not just complete a course

  • You need partner support tickets alongside content and training

  • You want to be live in weeks and try the product before the first commercial conversation

  • You are EU-based or have EU partners and want GDPR-native architecture from day one

Pick unifyr if:

  • Partner-led demand generation is a working, funded part of your channel strategy

  • You need campaign and social syndication with co-branded output

  • A concierge marketing service for partners who will not self-serve is valuable to you

  • MDF with ROI attribution is a program requirement

  • Lead distribution to partners is a core motion

  • You are already in the Zift install base and migration cost outweighs the gains

  • Your procurement process weighs IDC MarketScape placement
